SVLFL2800D DC-DC Converter

Combine our extensive family of DC-DC converters for space with VPT’s point of load converters for space to create a light weight, extremely efficient, space-ready power system.
With no stacked capacitors, the SVFL family of DC-DC converters utilize well controlled under-voltage lockout circuitry to eliminate slow start-up problems. Current sharing enables parallel operation of up to five units for 5x power output.
Features:
- Single output options of 5V (100 W), 12V (110 W), and 15V (120 W)
- Wide input voltage range: 16V to 40V continuous, 50V transient
- Continuous operation over full military temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with no power derating
- Very low output noise
- Parallel up to 5 units with current sharing
- Output voltage trim up +10% or down -20%
- Radiation immune magnetic feedback circuit
- No use of optoisolators
- Undervoltage lockout
- Current limit protection/short circuit protection
- Low profile (3.005″ x 1.505″ x 0.400″) and light weight (88g) hermetic packaging with industry standard pinout. Standard and optional side-flanged versions available.
Space-Level Characterizations:
- TID performance to 60 krad(si) characterized for ELDRS.
- SEE performance to 85 MeV/mg/cm2 . Transients are fully characterized for cross section and magnitude.
- Worst-case analysis, stress, radiation, reliability reports available.
