VPT30-2800S DC-DC Converter

The VPT30-2800S Series of DC-DC converters are designed specifically for military vehicles, weapons, shipboard, avionics, and other hi-rel applications. Important features such as a fixed switching frequency and output voltage trim ensure this converter will provide steady power to your exact specifications. These converters are based on proven military heritage electrical designs and packaged securely in six-sided metal packages for rugged duty.

  • Single outputs of 3.3V, 5V, 12V and 15V
  • Very low output noise
  • Wide input voltage range: 15 to 50 Volts with 80V transient per MIL-STD-704
  • Full performance over a wide temperature range of -55 °C to +100 °C, no power derating necessary
  • Output voltage trim up +10% or down -20%
  • Six-sided metal cases for improved EMI and mechanical/environmental performance
  • Optional rugged epoxy encapsulated V-SHIELD® package with integral metalized EMI shield
  • No use of optoisolators
  • Host of circuit protection features
  • High power density: > 30 W/in3
  • 6-sided metal cases for maximum EMI shielding
