BLACKSBURG, VA, April 17, 2012 – VPT Inc., a HEICO company (NYSE:HEI.A) (NYSE:HEI), recently broke ground on a new headquarters facility in Blacksburg Virginia. The new facility will serve as VPT’s research and development center and will be located in the award-winning office park, the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center.

VPT anticipates moving to the new location in the fourth quarter of this year. The move will not affect VPT’s manufacturing operations, which are located in a separate facility.
The Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center is the recipient of the 2010 Outstanding Research/Science Park Award given by the Association of
University Research Parks (AURP).
