VPT Sponsors New River Valley Youth Cycling Alliance

VPT is proud to sponsor the New River Valley Youth Cycling Alliance (NRVYCA) this year. The NRVYCA is a youth-focused cycling non-profit organization in the New River Valley. The alliance supports several programs, including the New River Valley Composite Race Team, Blacksburg High School Team, Pedal Power, and the Virginia High School Mountain Bike Series (VAHS MTB). 

This spring, the VAHS MTB, including students from Blacksburg High School and New River Valley High School and Middle School, competes in four races throughout Virginia, with two already completed. 

The remainder of the season’s schedule is as follows: 

Blue Ridge School -- May 13th 
Woodbury Forest School -- May 20th

VPT is pleased to be able to support our community in this endeavor to encourage local youth to adopt and maintain active lifestyles.
