SVPL1209S and SVPL3R312S DC-DC Converters Now Available and Released on DLA SMDs

VPT’s SVPL1209S and SVPL3R312S space qualified point-of-load DC-DC converters are now available and are DLA qualified. The SVPL1209S has been released on DLA SMD #5962-17231, and SVPL3R312S on #5962-17216. The SVPL Series is operable over the full military temperature range (-55 °C to +125 °C) with no power derating  and is specifically designed for the harsh radiation environment of space applications. It is qualified to MIL-PRF-38534 Class H and Class K, and Radiation Hardness Assurance (RHA) Level R. This series is characterized for Total Ionizing Dose (TID) performance, including Enhanced Low Dose Rate Sensitivity (ELDRS) and for Single Event Effects (SEE).    

The SVPL1209S operates from 3.1 to 13.2 V input, with an adjustable output from 0.8 to 5 V and up to 9 Amps output power. The SVPL3R312S operates from 3.1 to 5.5 V input, with an adjustable output from 0.8 to 3.8V and up to 12 Amps of output power. Both converters are highly efficient, up to 93%.
