Raytheon Company presented 2010 Supplier Excellence Awards to 34 companies for their exceptional performance in supporting the company's Space and Airborne Systems (SAS) business.
The winning suppliers represent less than one percent of SAS' supply base. The selection of VPT was based on meeting demanding standards in the areas of quality and delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and total business and financial health. Evaluations of VPT's performance by the Raytheon buyers and material program managers who deal with them every day were also part of the selection process.
