BLACKSBURG, VA, April 17, 2012 – VPT Inc., a HEICO company (NYSE:HEI.A) (NYSE:HEI), recently broke ground on a new headquarters facility in Blacksburg Virginia. The new facility will serve as VPTs research and development center and will be located in the award-winning office park, the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center.
“We are pleased to be expanding into this state-of-the-art research facility, said Dr. Dan Sable, President of VPT. Weve grown appreciably over the last several years and the time is right to invest in the next phase of our corporate success. The new facility will offer several new amenities to enhance our R&D capabilities as we continue to develop new power conversion technologies for the avionics, military, and space markets.”
VPT anticipates moving to the new location in the fourth quarter of this year. The move will not affect VPTs manufacturing operations, which are located in a separate facility.

University Research Parks (AURP).
